I was born on this date in 1950 at 7:07 AM. While that may seem like a long time ago to you, it’s gone by pretty fast. Whoosh! Here I am seventy years old. Some days may go slow, but the years go fast. My birthday wishes are simple–don’t waste a moment of your one precious life on anger or hate or people who don’t appreciate you. Be grateful. Remain open to possibilities. Lend a hand. Make new friends. Keep learning. Vote. Spread kindness. Be the reason someone smiles today.
Hi Lorie. I love what you’ve said “. . . don’t waste a moment of your one precious life on anger or hate or people who don’t appreciate you.” Especially that last bit. Too often we don’t realise how much of our time is wasted on people who don’t deserve our time or attention.
I hope you have a wonderful day. Happy Birthday, Lorie 🎂

Thanks! I come from a long line of positive thinkers. Both of my grandmothers, my parents. I think it’s in my DNA. I know I’ve been pretty lucky, but I also believe it’s a choice. 😊
