My book. Or proof of the book anyway.
On Sunday we held a little gathering of old friends to celebrate my first seventy years on the planet. Just hors d’oeuvres, desserts, sangria, and conversation. That was fun, but while the party was still going on, the proof for the paperback for Us, Now and Then showed up in the mailbox. Finally–after a decade of working on it–I had a real book to show my friends. The paperback is on sale now at Amazon.
Two milestones to celebrate on one day–my 70th birthday and my actual book. It was a very good day.
And for the bargain hunters among you, there’s a pre-sale offer going on over at Smashwords from now until the official release, on April 1. Just 99 cents! Of course, you can still pre-order the Kindle version at Amazon.
Congratulations! So very proud that you set a goal and worked to reach it. No one would guess from looking at the lovely photo of you that you’d worked hard, since you look so rested in the photo. LOL

I tried to download your book from Smashwords — and I think your book is somewhere on my computer, but I haven’t found it yet. I will. Give me time. CONGRATULATIONS!!
At the moment I am really concentrating on my latest book. I’m about 29,000 words into it and my poor, little brain just can’t cope with too many distractions just now.

Thanks. I received a notice from Smashwords that somebody bought it. Maybe it was you! It’s not going anywhere. It’ll be there when you’re ready. Keep those blinders on and your butt in your chair!
