If all went as planned, my new book, US, AGAIN, launched at midnight. And somehow, at 7:07 this morning, I turned 75.
In this short sequel to my first book, US, NOW & THEN, two lifelong friends and their families navigate life’s challenges against the backdrop of the 2020 pandemic. I hope Claire and Libby’s emotional journeys make for a compelling little sequel.
I originally considered publishing this story as a blog series, one chapter at a time, to drive new readers to my first book, as sales had naturally begun to fall off after five years. However, when I asked, I learned many of my reader friends prefered to read the whole thing at once. Finally, because it’s so short, I opted to publish it only on Kindle. If, like me, you’re a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, you can read both of my books for FREE.
As I disclosed to my brother, it’s considerably shorter than my first book for two main reasons. First, it took less than five years to write instead of ten. Second—and for better or worse—I didn’t listen to a bunch of people telling me what was wrong with it and why no one would want to read a book set in 2020. You can read it for yourself and decide.
So please, grab a tissue and settle in for a few hours with these two Nevada girls. Click here to read US, AGAIN now.

Congratulations on both milestones.
