Book Report: Finding what’s lost before it’s too late

Finding Imogene is a bit genre-bending. A decades-old mystery with lots of family drama, and compelling suspense that will keep you guessing until the very end. Author Teri Case brings depth and insight to each of her point-of-view characters. No good guys or bad guys here. Just real, flawed humans with very personal motivations for their actions, reactions, and the secrets they’ve guarded for so long to protect their loved ones.

Teri’s previous novels were filled with heart and this one is no exception. There’s even a quirky pet parrot providing a little comic relief now and then. “Uh-oh!”

Why and how did Imgogne simply disappear and who was to blame? I finished this book way too quickly. If I hadn’t NEEDED to find Imogene, I would have been sorry to see it end.
All the stars. All the feels. Very satisfying. Well done, Teri!

Read my reviews of Teri’s previous books Tiger Drive here and In the Doghouse here. Spoiler: I recommend them both.
