What I’m reading this week…

I’m about half-way through Ken Follett’s Fall of Giants, the first of his Century Trilogy. I enjoy historical fiction and always find I learn a lot when I read about actual historical events told through characters’ perspective. The political intrigue, the diplomatic entanglements, the social issues of the day all come to life.  That said, this is a BIG, dense book and I’ll probably read a few smaller, lighter works before diving in to the next one. Thanks to Wilma and Susan for recommending the series.
